saying that i still dont know if it would work my bet is get a sammy sender unit plug your gauge on it and move the sender to see if there gauge goes up and down

Whats wrong with the tank you have?Ricky-410 wrote:I need to swap tanks in my 410 but can only get hold of sammy one's. The fuel level sensor on mine only has one wire to it but the samurai one looks to have 3 ( think ones snapped ). Can you still just put the one wire on for the gauge? I'm guessing the other 2 are for a warning light? Also wil there be a difference between the Spanish and the Japanese setups?

Re: fuel senders
thought i burst it trying to get out a bog, backed onto a fallen tree. Didn't notice for a while. but when i did look properly its just rotten. went over it with a srew driver knocking the bad bits out and filling them with this stuff. then washed it out with some petrol and chucked it back on with a new filter. Hope it holds for now.
