fuel senders
fuel senders
I need to swap tanks in my 410 but can only get hold of sammy one's. The fuel level sensor on mine only has one wire to it but the samurai one looks to have 3 ( think ones snapped ). Can you still just put the one wire on for the gauge? I'm guessing the other 2 are for a warning light? Also wil there be a difference between the Spanish and the Japanese setups?
Re: fuel senders
We looked on my mates sammy dash and he said there was one there? But he has a different tank in the back so je didnt know of it worked. Now I'm really confused then!

saying that i still dont know if it would work my bet is get a sammy sender unit plug your gauge on it and move the sender to see if there gauge goes up and down

Re: fuel senders
Jap samurai tank is the same. Just one wire.
Spanish tanks use a completely different sender.

Re: fuel senders
Maybe the three wire one is for a fuel injection version. I'm sure there are three wires on the Ignis one in mine. The others are for the built in fuel pump.

Re: fuel senders
If you can find a Japanese tank it should come with a one wire sender, Ive never managed to get a Spanish 3 wire sender to work in a jap SJ
