How have we all wired our in?
Obviously it needs an earth and a switched life, preferably from the ignition. Just wondered who had wired it where.

You've got the wiring sorted with what you say.
For location of the pump. Pumps push better than suck, so ideally near to the tank.
Having said that I put one on the bulkhead in my sons Vitara and it was never a problem.
So wherever suits seems to work.

I rewired all my Sammy and wired the facet pump from an ignition live from the fusebox - oh and i moved mine from mthe back to under the bonnet - works fine and is accesable if/when it goes wrong!! read "be prepared" thread :(Jordi wrote:How have we all wired our in?

I bolted my fuel pump to the inside of the wing, then used the attaching bolt for an earth.
Then I wired in a relay to activate the pump, taking the relay activation signal from the positive terminal on the ignition coil... now the pump starts with the key
