Yep I am with Dan there the starter should turn if there is power so clean it and check your wires. i had a bad earth on mine and it would not start and nearly melted all the wires as a result.

hello. i had the same problem with my sj and i read on how to change it about it somewhere on the web. that i will try to find it for you and post it. but in the mean time i decided to change the whole engine . it was a lot simplier and a lot cheaper.

interesting thought you are right about the acceleration with the turbo. now of course i am going to ask you the question. how to supercharge it.
