Cheers for all the advice scottie. Haven't had any time to update this thread till now. I've had many late and sleepless nights trying to get this all sorted ready play this weekend at korc.

decided while the axle was off it would be rude not to give it a clean up and lick of paint. Then decided since axle wrap killed my last rear springs i would fab up and add a rear anti wrap bar.

I moved all my shock mounts to make the most of the astra shock travel which meant making a new exhaust so I decided to use a corsa diesel centre section to suit the engine better

Looks good  not too high either.

Personally I would leave it as half high steer as the merc arms ruin your ackerman angle if you use two for a full high steer.
Also are you running a merc tre with the arm? The tapers are different to Suzuki so there is actually very little surface contact if you use a Suzuki tre in the Merc arm and it's not a very ideal set up like that.

Ive got one here that appears to have had the hole welded up and redrilled so that may be an option!

currently using a ford fiesta tre to make it mobile. but have a pair of merc tre's to make the job a good 'un. I'm glad you boys dont think its too high, its certainly a little higher than i was expecting it to be!
As for the ackerman angle this is somthing that i have thought about a lot and cant decide whether its better to have the track rod out of harms way when off roading or keep the ackerman angle for road use... I Will keep looking at it and see if there is any way to reverse the merc arms to the rear and still connect steer rod as this would correct the ackerman and keep the high steer. :er:
