I have LED side lamps instead of bulbs. The main lights have traditional bulbs in them, but the little indicators on the wings are LED ones.

As a result, my indicators go a touch fast, but my hazards run normal speed. It's a bit weird, but I passed the MOT like that.

I think your MOT man is just being an arse.

I think its because its flashing all the lights at once its using more power and clicking on and off and the right speed

Yeah, that's my assumption too, Chris. Needs to draw more current to get the right timing.

When mine were to fast I wired another bulb in each side which slowed them to normal speed
Sid James gone but never forgotten
Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good

had a look and the front ones have 4 amp bulbs in and i cant get higher for the type of indicators the lad i bought it off had put on so i have ordered some new ones hopefully all jobs finished in the next couple days and get it retested and a look out green laning on Sunday to celebrate lol
