WOW! That looks awesome. Nice work. You could grab one of the foglights I fitted to mine to replace the standard ones. They're fairly easy to mount just about anywhere, you just need a bolt hole.

There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Thanks guys, but you should really reserve judgement till you see it in the flesh, it looks a damn sight better than it did last year, but there are little niggles all over that are thankfully hidden in slightly blurry photos!!

Unless you are building a "shiney" then those little niggles don't mean a thing. We all have a bucket load of little niggles.timwilks13 wrote:Thanks guys, but you should really reserve judgement till you see it in the flesh, it looks a damn sight better than it did last year, but there are little niggles all over that are thankfully hidden in slightly blurry photos!!

Re: Tims SJ410 Build Project
Little update, bit boring as there's no pictures im afraid, but finally got all the wiring finished tonight, new lights working all as they should which is a relief! passenger side door all back on and back together, new rear springs put on, which tips the truck forward quite a lot, and looks hilariously stupid on 195's, need to source extended brake lines though as the rear has little to no travel left. Exhaust is the last MOT'able nessecity, need a step up adaptor to fit my cherry bomb, if i can get one tomorrow from local motor factors i should be on for an MOT next week if not this! Ill keep y'all posted!!

MOT? I would say "race ya!" but every time I think I'm going to be ready for the MOT soon, something goes wrong. So I'm trying not to jinx it...

Bodged up a rear exhaust section, its a very high performance, perfectly tuned, custom made piece of kit, utilizing 5 different sections specifically chosen for the ultimate sound and performance, and definately not just because they're the pieces i had lying around the garage.

Re: Tims SJ410 Build Project
yea i started it up last night and can envisage it being rather loud, but as long is at gets through its MOT with it on, it will have to do for now. If i find its ridiculously loud ill look into adding a silencer before the cherry bomb.
