Oh well it was an idea, I suppose if its over 32mm of positive offset you couldn't even run spacers with the reversed rim to correct it. I've heard of people cutting out the centre of rims and welding them back in to give a better offset, could you do the same except reduce the offset on the rear wheels?if its 3" wider on the rear you would only have to move the rim centres 1.5" towards the middle (on each wheel) to reduce the offset and get it back lined up with the front wheel track,

I don;t wan to cut up these wheels ;) When I swap to the GV steels that are noaarower with less offset I'll just run some wheel spacers up front to even it out :thumbup:

:bawling: had quite a catastrophic headgasket failure at 3am this morning after a night laning session, luckily it was only about a 5mile drive on 2 cylinders for the rest of the journey home.

Seems to have blown between 2&3 as my compression results are 160-0-0-120 :hahaha:

Head off next weekend for inspection and rebuild.

Scott, That really stinks. Hate to hear things like that.

My DD usually has some issue about once a month on the way over to the shop. I end up limping into the shop and fix it and start back on the build the next day. Got to say it has only left me stranded 2 times. Dead battery at the grocery store and a clutch cable busted the liner out and had to get it towed to the shop that time.

The 2 and 3 cylinders is usually where the head gasket fails for some reason. The last head gasket I used was a good quality sandwhich type from Altron if that helps. You will probably have to have the head miiled to fix it. It is a good idea to re-torque the head after a few day just for to be sure it is seated.

I Know that you will have it up and running in no time.
