Ahhh I've had this, you take the two pin plug and there should be an orange sensor which it connects too, then the green plug behind the heater needs to go in the yellow socket also behind the heater.............

Honestly I don't know, do you mean when you push the horn it doesn't operate or that the CD player stops operating? If the radio stops it sounds like an earth fault, I'd run a new + & - cable for the radio

We're on about an SJ here right? Does it have the horn on the stalk or in the centre of the wheel? It sounds like when you push the button it's making the switch to a common earth ( the full beam indication) but as the earth isn't there the voltage will pass through the indication lamp and earth on that side of the circuit, so it won't operate the horn as the horn will be only getting half volts do you see what I mean?

It should follow the red line but because that earth is damaged or has failed it will follow the green to get to earth

Did you fix it ??

I've been having a look at the wiring diagram and to me it just looks like a blown fuse.
If you have switched earth headlights they have a constant live.
This means the highbeam indicator light also has a constant live.
With a blown fuse this makes makes an earth via the horn coil when pressed or the interior light bulb coil when the door is opened.

Mind you I could be talking bollocks :er:

Because of the slightly odd wiring on some of them they can do all sorts of weird things when stuff breaks. At one point my indicators also made my drivers side full beam blink.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
