Just noticed the irony of my SCUK rank, because if i had infact 'Engaged 4wd low' i wouldnt have pulled the whole engine back out for nothing!

I usually bodge something up, my mate did it once without a tool and it was wrecked within a few thousand miles.

all seemed to line up ok with my fingers and a screw driver so fingers crossed ey! anyway, everything is back together and running now and with a bit of adjusting she goes forward AND BACKWARDS!

question to all su users, did you just use your accelerator cable that was in as the one in my 410 isn't long enough, if I order a 413 one will that do? thanks!

I think I might have done that once, I mainly used tape on the handle of a valve grinding tool. You used to be able to hire the proper tool from hire shops but they were usually closed when we needed the tool.
