I work in brid and keep meaning to go look at it, I offered the guy £200 last time it was on thats when he said he wanted £300. You put your 1.6 in yet? I'm already drooling over having a shiny 1. 3 in mine!!

Nah. Its going in next week. Unfortunately the 1.3 out if it isnt for sale (i'd want unrealistic money for it). Its the one in the yard under the tarp thats for sale.
I've got a hiab 3.5tonner for the weekend possibly longer for doing all the lifting. Just on ordering all my service items for the 1600.

You ever had that 1.3 running? Luckily my mate has a chain winch in his garage which is great for lifting out engine. The other week we used it to lift the entire back end to do (or not do as it turned out) the handbrake.
Out of curiosity anyone know the oil capacity of a 410 ill have to to a full oil change so need to know how much I should be buying.

No would be the simple answer about that other engine. Bought it as a spare but now surplus to requirements.

Re: petrol in the oil
lol it will eventually get to the stage where the 1.3s aren't worth the metal they are made out of, and the 1.6 engines become worth their weight in gold

Eeesh... my 8v cost me £100.
My 16v technically cost my £200 but scottie had £100 worth of 8v bits off me, so £100 total
