thanks guys i'll find out how much a new one is 2moz and try to get over to the other sj and see if thats any better.. as i'll pinch it off that and fit new one to the other sj as its going on road mot etc

to day i got a little involved and finished (well almost) the fan set up

Hench

gauges just set up to check things will install one neatly tomorrow

Image
i know its a oil temp gauge but it was free and dose the job this is temp of the engine

Image
this is rad temp gose up to 85 when stat opens then back to 70 with fan on low speed on high i can take it down to 60

both temps anus had been running for the time it took to make and smoke a fag and make a tea

do these engines last with the stat taken out :er: i no in other carsi have delt with (bmw) it makes cold spots and can damage heads/reduse flow in certen parts

and final pic i clean the rad fins out this is 25% of what i got out 15% i think i breathed in :yuk: and the rest went up in the air

Image
should make an improvment goes to show high powered hose don't always work

I think a whole new tie rod would be a small fortune or un obtainable.

I think the one on the 410 im breaking is good. Ill check for you tomorrow.

Put an ad in the wanted section, I'm sure somebody must have some spares. PM mike he's always pulling them apart.
Tie rod keeps being mentioned :er: but I think it's the drag rod your after.
Just make sure you get the right length
May be worth measuring as old Suzuki's have often been messed with..
