Finally got the G16A engine and gearbox bolted in but the dizzy cap just hits on the bulk head.
Before i get out the BFH

i just wanted to make sure ive not done anything stupid. Anyone else had a issue with theirs being alittle close at the back?
Also the prop that runs from the gear box to the transfur box i think was a 413 and was about 1/3 inch to long so ive had to use the slightly shorter 410 one which went in lovely, just thought i would point these things out as not seen anyone mention they had a issue with them in any other conversion builds.

If it is an early 410 I seem to recall the rear gearbox crossmember is slightly different. Maybe causing your engine to sit further back and foul bulkhead and require shorter prop.

That should have the later gearbox mount so that's a bit odd, did you mount it up a standard gearbox mount and then do the engine mounts? Maybe a few pics of everything would help us see what's going on, the dizzy shouldn't foul the bulkhead

should be at least 1" clearance.

The engine and box were to hard to lift together so i seperated them.
First lifted the engine and sit in it place and bolted down the n/s (standard) engine mount.
Then i rested the engine down on the o/s half complete engine mount, the gear box at this point just about lined up with the gear box mount. So i bolted this down then put the spacer in for the o/s mount and bolted that down.
The only thing that was abit unexpected was the o/s mount would of sat way to high and was nowhere near going to line up so i turned it upside down? It was then alot closer.
If anyone has a couple of pics of their mount? maybe im doing it completly wrong...
Still doesnt explain why i had to use the slightly shorter prop, unless everyone has to?

Think both mounts nees modding for a 410. Think its just 1300 mounts that line up.
Might be wrong.
