HELP ME!! i cant insure my zuk and dont want to sell her...

I was getting quotes of 1900 a couple of month ago, i refreshed it the other day and it shot up to 3000! for exactly the same details so I'm in the same boat. Unfortunately so is "suzuki-rob" He's had to sell up after spending many hours and pounds getting his suzuki ready, to end up in a polo because the insurance was going to be 4000!

As soon as i put down its had any mods there isn't that many companies want to know, and them that do want £6500!

If you got a mrs or parent you can insure with, use admiral multicar, my insurance was 1900 on its own, and the mrs was 1200, im only 23 she's 25, we used multicar and it came to £1100 for the both of us on our own vehicles. (1.4 tigra and my del sol) then cost me £0 to transfer over to my vit!

I know all of this might not be suitable/possible but these are the things that have the biggest impact on price for people in you young lads situation.

Under 5k miles a year
Kept in garage
Approved alarm/immobiliser
SDP only
Access to another car/company vehicle
Postcode its stored at/insured at

i done a quote about 5 mounths back and it was about 1,900 to insure my zook without any mods but i havnt checked it recently so give me an hour or two and i shall see how much has changed

im not telling them its got any modifications

ive tried the main comparison sites and changed things on there to see whats cheaper
ill try the ones you lot have mentioned and asee what happens..

suuzki sj 410 with no mods age 17

wright elephthant.co.uk quoted me 2,700 for thrird party fire and theft
that was the cheapest on go compare

tried co oprative and it sayed

Your quote was declined for the following reason: Unacceptable due to vehicle age.

so hopefully the prices will drop by the end of febuary

its getting stupid, it looks like i might have to do the same and sell me zuk :( really dont want to though, what if i put my mrs parents on my insurance, would it bring it down?

jay cant u sell ur zook to ur parents or something which u can then buy off them when u reach 21 and buy a cheap car to insure just to build up no claims discount
