Please verify this engine

I'd have to ask but I'd say £100 if not cheaper.
Full engine I beleive, minus sump which a mate had for his I think.
Located J29a M1.

Cheaper would be better. But if we are talking complete engine, starter, water pump, alternator complete. Then I'm interested. and J29a is ideal. I'm up and down past there every week.

If you can have a word, get a couple of pics and price be much appreciated.

Its a 1.6 8v spi.

My G16A was £120 with everything. Even a nearly new rad for good measure.

Spares are somewhat scarce up here apparently and everybody wants to rip you off too. I'll keep on shopping about.

A G16 isnt worth more than £150 secondhand whatever anyone says in my opinion.

For £200 i can get complete pug 1.9td.

There was a 1.3 on the bay for £200 i think. Dreaming!

I wouldn't of said a 1.3 was worth anything. When we bought the SJ in 99' I think it was we paid £500 and got a engine and box with it.

One good thing did come out of the day. So long as I do it before the end of Feb. Roll cage bent to shape £100. I have to supply steel and weld it up.

Probably be all done for 200 notes.
