after having the suzuki on the road a bit ive decided its not really giving quite what i wanted from it so i have decided to go for something a little different and hopefully a little more road friendly. i guess the suzuki is just a bit to different to modorn trafic, infact the exact opposite, (very small and high). so this is what ive bought.



i do love the suzuki to death but its just missing something while road driving, of course it makes up for everything off road and it has bags of character. my hope is to get the morris on the road and then give the suzuki an ultimate rebuild, im still not sure if this is a plan or a dream. i will update when the suzuki is on sorn again or i have made some sort of decision.

thats insane! clean looking though. also the best reason to work in an mot garage although my zuki failed its first test

does anyone know about these new mot failures coming out in the new year? ive been told some of them and they sound stupid. a split in a track rod end boot is a fail, any warning light on the dash is a fail, the drivers seat must move back and forward. i think there will be many disputes over these.

i haven't updated my build thread for a while so i would try kick it off again, ive done a fair bit since my last post but for now i think i will start with original decals! there's a few other bits i have done so will try and will post up soon.

You're getting rid of a Zook for a Moggie? Those old 1000s are slower than lawn tractors. I bet an SJ would be quicker, greener and almost as good in corners.

yer, but the morris has a carpet and a leather interior, and i imagine not as bumpy. saying that though i posted that up December last year and the Morris is still parked in the garage.

i bought one of these today, i think its about the most useful tool ever!

its an exhaust emissions tester, it measures CO, dwel angle, rpm, volts and you can use it to check injectors. but most importantly it makes tuning the carb the easiest thing in the world. definitively my most favorite toy.

thanks! i got the stickers made by a company called 48 hour signs, there custom made to look original but you can have just about anything done so i chose to have the suzuki rhino included, and they cost about £55, im very pleased with the way they turned out.

i also found time and space to fit my cb radio, just because i think it looks cool really but im sure i will find it usefull at some point,,, maby....


and i fitted a new radio, as the 80s decided they wanted the cassette player back. (it broke)

its a cheap as chips stereo bought brand new and made in Poland, it has USB, and SD card connectivity,and radio but no CD player as CDs probably wouldn't last long in my car and they take up room unlike a memory stick.

BMW carpets fill the foot wells perfectly, (and they were free)

and lastly i recovered the front badge to match
