Rear axle angle correction wedges???

Post by molehill » Wed Dec 28, 2011 12:14 am

little confusion... swapping rear springs and found some little wedges between the spring & axle. I think they're there to lift the nose of the diff to make a better angle for the prop shaft because we have a SOA set up fitted B4 we got the truck. They don't have a stud or anything to index them to the axle. Any ideas??? :er:

Would guess that might be the case. Maybe whoever did the spoa conversion welded the saddles on at the wrong angle and did that to correct it.
