Now to move onto the final complex task which is the air filter but I will run it for a week to see if any problems arise before doing more modifications. I have everything to do the air filter now, just need to break in to my old school as know one of the teachers quite well there and borrow their workshop and welder for the day.
Plan to cut the bonnet in sort of an H shape bend it to the right points so that the elbow fits under the bonnet and have fun welding for many hours
. Will post pictures on the process. Hopefully at the same time I can take the sump off and see if I can re-shape that with a grinder and welder and then thats the welding done till next year's MOT when a few body mounts need to be done. I can then start playing rather than fixing stuff that's broken or non-existent
If any one wants an SJ dashboard (a bit knackered but mostly ok) you are welcome to have it. Have a center console as well that you are also welcome to have, if not it's being broken up and taken to the dump.

I was driving a few round that area last week. I've almost for all the lanes for Norfolk on memory map
