Hi iv'e done a search but couldn't find much.
I was bored this morning so i decided to do the first mod on the banana skin. After reading about the fan mod i decided to go for it seeing i had a few electric fans kicking around the yard. Removing the standard one and mounting the electric one was easy, but where i'm not to bad at the mechanical side, i'm absolutly useless at electrics, well relays. So my problem is i want to wire it up to a switch inside the zuke but not 100% on wiring through a relay. At the moment i've just got the wire into the cabin and i'm just earthing it to switch the fan on .
If anyone knows of the relay i need and has a little drawing so i can fit a nice little switch in the cabin it would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Dave
P.S without the standard fan the zuke feels a little more responsive. Maybe all in the mind though
Junked the standard fan and fitted a electric one.

Here are some pics I put on difflock a while back
This is a rad cover to fit the fan, sort of
... and this is the circuit for the rad fan... ignore the right half of the circuit, that was for a rear windscreen de-mister

Thanks fella. Iv'e sorted it now. Managed to find out how to put the relay in line, i will put a thermo switch in the top hose in the near future but the switch will do till then. Now all i need is some different wheels and tyres and i'll be happy for a while. cheers again. Dave.

pardon the intrusion but could anyone shed any light on the best fan to use, read different blogs about honda civic, subaru lagacy's but dont known which direction to go. My dad told me about kenlowe fans as he had one on his ford anglia once a blue moon unfortunaly any advice would be great

I'd just go for a fan that's from a vehicle with an engine the same size, or preferably larger than your engine
I think mine's a 10".... dunno about the fan though
