dpf replaceent

got a grand vitara on a 08 plate,73 k 1.9ddis AWD 3 door

dpf is duff and kicks in on the limp mode,

had the forced regen done a while back but that's failed can and do the replacements on ebay work? and if so who does the best one,

I'm not suggesting you do this, but people have been known to gut their DPF and refit it as a straight through pipe.

DPF "filters" are not filters at all. They're temporary soot storage systems that capture soot at lower temps, then emit it when you're moving faster/exhaust temps are higher.
