Yes indicators and dip switch. Couldn't get mine to work, checked the wiring which was fine. The problem was down to dust and dirt. The switch was full of it. Pulled it apart and needed a tooth pick to pry the muck out. Cleaned and back together and I was a happy chappie.

my wiring has been hacked about, the steering column switch had been broken so the previous owners have wired various alternative switches and added them to the dashboard. I bought a replacement combination switch but the forward and back high low beam part is obviously broke on this one also....

If you have a replacement switch from a a LJ there is not much to break. They are fairly robust. A couple that I have played were full of dirt. Another fault I found has been the solder joints had broken. Worth a look inside but be careful when you take apart--- there is a small ball bearing in the indicator part of the switch, lose that and game over as it locates the position for left and right.

can get all the indicators to work by pull the hazard switch but can@t get them to flash any other way, I think the replacement combination switch is no good so I'll have to re-fit the replacement three way switch the car came with...anyone any ideas how to connect this?

How strange, just tried to fit a replacement combination switch bought off ebay and realised the indicators work the wrong way around, but I've just read what it says in the owners book extract, so for a RH drive car you'll press down for the right hand side and push up for the left...surely thats wrong????
I've had to link some of the cables out as I've spent all day trying to get the indicators to work at all, the hazards all worked and by linking the cables I could get the indicators to work, but having stripped the switch down to investigate I can't understand how they would work as the contacts don't match the point where they should. I've rectified it but I'm obviously missing something vital
