shocks n springs info
Re: shocks n springs info
Has it got an evil Z bar for the steering? They don't help, also many people cock up the faster angle when they do an SPOA conversion, might be worth checking the angles. If you put an angle finder on the diff pinion flange it should be 10* from vertical, pointing up at the transfer box.
Also check that the shocks aren't close to being fully compressed or extended at ride height.

A hi-steer kit will improve things.
Check that the shocks aren't "bottoming out" before it hits the bump stops. Fit rear bump stops.
does it have a steering damper fitted?

Re: shocks n springs info
I had a 'good' z bar, recently changed it to half hi steer using merc arm. Massive difference, i can drive over speed bumps without fighting my sj anymore.
Mines spoa and pretty stiff on the road but is very good offroad, flexes really well. Think my front springs are slightly longer than normal and rears are bedford rascal pack with top sj leaf.
Your front bump stops need extending too.

One merc arm and a modified suzuki steering bar (preferably half merc half zuk) if you google half hi steer it brings up the part number you need and quite alot of info on it.
