exhaust question

Post by rob381 » Sat Jun 11, 2016 12:39 pm

Hi guys, I have a 54 plate 2.0 5 door GV, and I would like to ask if anyone knows if my vit is fitted with two cats in the exhaust system. I have a serious rotten flange joint in between what looks like two cats. I have printed off a exhaust components page and it asks the question, J20 engine with WU-TWC or without WU-TWC. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Rob, not 100% sure on the GV, but usually they have 1 cat and then the other boxes are silencers.

Thanks for the reply twiss, seems a little odd to have two cats but you never know. Any idea on what those letters mean? Maybe some other Suzuki mad owner may know . Thanks again.

Thanks for your help guys, I have the diagram showing the components, but how can I identify if I have or have not the warm up three way cat converter, and am I correct in assuming that my vehicle has one cat fitted? Thanks guys.
