I would definitely add some gussets to the mount in the first pic, I can see that bending and eventually failing.

Also in the second pic it looks like a bolt is loose ;)

It did fail, I reinforced it when I got it but you can't see in them pics, it's now pretty solid. Iv just realised the bolts loose, how's that come bloody loose! :er:

1" lift on 31"s and a bit of arch/bulkhead trimming and bending.
Flexes up well, super-low centre of gravity. A build inspired from Scotties truck.

Low centre of gravity really is key, my little SJ proved it's self so much at a Pay&Play last week. Got laughed at as I arrived in it, as everything else there was a big truck (Defender, Disco, Frontera etc etc...)
It was my SJ that spent the whole day following the only tray-back competition truck effortlessly.

Love the little beast! :D

I read in a post about using merc steering component in order to lift the steering over the spring. What merc is this from? G waggon?

I would like to go down this route but it would be a real struggle to fit the xud engine if I was spua. Nice truck by the way
