As per usual after heavy rain, I was mopping up inside under the dash above fuse box in my 1987 SJ 410 and dislodged the lamp in the pic below. I've tried all circuits and it doesn't light up? and it probably should as it's plastic and doesn't look as though it needs an earth.
I've fumbled around with a mirror and light but no luck, any ideas what it is and where it goes back please?
Thanks!

Thanks Tom and Scottie for your replies, you're both correct, mystery solved!
The lamp got pulled out of an after market, tow bar electrics, on warning lamp, located on the right hand auxiliary switches panel.
Cheers again!
