Re: Ignition connection wiring
Any black-white tracer is ignition live. So you can use that as a trigger feed for a relay. Or use the white-black feed for the stereo as that is switched live with the key in accessory position or ignition on. Use it to power the accessory or as a trigger for a relay. I’d advise the use of a relay ...

Re: VAG VW/Audi rear disc conversion
Sorry I’ve been too busy with other projects there’s no reason this shouldn’t work though.
I think I did test fit the Spanish pads though and it it seemed fine.

Re: Will SJ samurai jimny brakes lines
Just check your sj first to make sure it’s still got the original Spanish lines.
Post up a picture in this thread with a pic of the fitting between the hardline and flexies.

Re: Suzuki SJ410 - broke into, cut ignition wiring - no power at all to anything
It does sound like a dodgy connection on the feed from the battery to fuse box/ignition. Have you tried just bypassing the fusible link to see what happens? Obviously it’s not recommended permanently but it would be a quick and easy way to see if the fusible link is part of the issue. Other than tha...

Re: Will SJ samurai jimny brakes lines
Ah in that case Jimny lines won’t work unless you cut off the factory hardline fittings and reflare them with male m10x1 fittings for the Jimny lines.
That’s if your sj still has the factory Spanish female fittings on the ends of the hardlines anyway

In my reply in your other thread I have previously explained what you need to do to wire in a later type alternator.

Re: Wiring diagram
Yes you need to remove the external reg and then connect some of the wires from that plug to the connection on the back of the alternator as I explained in my last reply. If you aren’t sure how to do what I explained in my last post then maybe it would be best to get help from an auto electrician or...

Re: Will SJ samurai jimny brakes lines
Vin starting VSE = Spanish
JSA= jap
Tbh it’s easy to get sj brake flexys anyway so why are you looking at Jimny ones?
Or Dave at llama 4x4 can make you up braided ones (in black) in any length you want, you just need to let him know if your SJ is jap or Spanish and he’ll fit the correct ends.

Re: Coiled turqoise samurai 16v
I don’t think the VSS makes a big difference to the performance, I just found it made it a bit smoother, unless it was all in my head. More importantly though you will constantly have a check engine light if the VSS isn’t hooked up. It shouldn’t be too hard to swap in a jap cluster, just be mindful ...
