From the starter or battery?

Ive got a earth from the starter to battery but not to the body? Should there be one? As some times its like the battery is flat but then it will start after a couple of turns of the key! Thanks dave

Thanks 4 that! In 2 wheel sure there's no drive going 2 the front so will be the same as locking hubs?

Plz don't shout at me but I'm going to weld my rear diff up! BUT what I'm asking is can I do my front as well? I've done the power steering convention already but if I drive it in 2 wheel drive 2 the pit I shouldn't have any trouble steering??? All info would b great! Thanks Dave
