Im planning on making a snorkel for my sj. Just wondering whats the best type of pipe to use? and wheres the best place to get hold of it??
Also what the deal with the pipe that go's from the exhaust manifold to the air filter, can i just get rid of this??

Use metal pipe if you can. Wont smash on trees then.
Yes scrap that, it just feeds warm air to the filter to aid cold starting... when the exhaust is cold?

I have used 2" black flexi duct and standard 90angle drainpipe fittings, may not be pretty but quite strong,

check this out,, its strong and flexable enougth,, plus it is induction hose.. they also sell various bends and fixings..
