When I start up my sj head lights keep flashing on and off. The side lights or full beam doesn't just the head lights
Any ideas

possible bad earth? clean the earth points with some sandpaper/emery cloth and try again mine had that problem and they was earthed but they dont look factory wires

Before doing anything else check if you have a dim dip relay under your glovebox and unplug it.

I don't know about your symptoms. But my head lights started to become lazy, as in id turn them on & it would take a second or so to light up. This I traced to the plastic plug which connected to the fuseboard PCB in the passenger footwell, it had burnt up in the connector, a quick clean up with some emery and sorted

I fitted new earths to side lights but ill stick a power probe on my head light earth and see if that stops it. Cheers ill let u know what happens
