Quite a collection there. Not something i've ever been into. But you will be the envy of quite a few lads on here.

I'm a huge music fan. Go to a lot of gigs. Anything Motley Crue and Guns N Roses influenced. Off to see Crashdiet next weekend. Sleaze rock / Glam metal as it gets labelled.

Other than that its the usual work, suzukis, mud and wife.

This is a thread I can really get my teeth into, TBH Im a real Geek and I keep going back to the things I like! One of my biggest hoobies up until a few years ago was classic motorbikes, I had a few myself, The bike I was most proud of was my 1969 Puch Ms50d Which I did a complete restoration on
it went from this

to this

Until I got knocked off it!

I'm a big fan of RC too I'll post somemore later

That looks well Luke! :rockin:

Must have put some time, effort and cash into making it look like that. What happened to it after your accident?

Crumpled! the frame is bent as are the forks, the tank I had professionally spray painted has been dinted and the Factory produced leg shields were bent beyond reuse, the NOS seat I sourced was torn ... and my leg was pretty bad too! I was most gutted about the bike! Its still in this state, One day I'd like to Re-Restore it.

Now For RC, I didn't really get into it until my late teens - After My suzuki!

My first is an Mtronics Colt Cb15, Its my one and only nitro, Its fantastic when its running but I don't like the hassle trying to get it started, the oily parts and the fact I have to take it to the park to run it, The street is just too small and I end up damaging it!
Image

The Second RC I bought was a Tamiya hornet, It was fantastic and I ran it into the ground, I fitted a 19t motor and it was great..... well It seemed great if you don't like handling, response or suspension that worked
Image

As I said I virtually wrecked it so this is what its like now
Image

Image

I put a standard MSC in it and fitted a tamiya silver can and now its in the loft, I've been intending to buy a new lexan body for it but they are so bloody expensive!

My next purchase was CEN Mini Madness, It came as a package and was pretty good in its own way - a basher, I don't have any pictures but its another with a damaged body shell!

Then I bought an Academy Sportwerks raven BX (which was actually from horizon hobbies) this was another package car and at first I had a real downer on it because it used to have next to no runtime, It had a 19t motor originally which i changed for a 17t.... Now I have a 5000mah Lipo in it with a 15t motor and its loads better. As much As I like it it was never a racing grade car

Image

Next I have something in progress, Aiming to be a 6x6, this was my first attempt but basically it has been torn down

Image

Also I have Replica Suzuki SJ, I made it from a losi Mini rock crawler with a custom chassis

Image

Image

Image

It has a speedway pal Peo14 body on it with a custom made soft top and RC4wd 1.55 Drit grabbers for wheels, Its good but so slow!

Finally My newest Acquisition,
Last Year I had an Urge to go competitive RC racing after finding a track local to me, I searched Ebay and browsed a few forums and bought myself a second hand Schumacher cougar SV, Im still dead chuffed about it really,

Image

Image

Its the Standard one with the midmounted motor, I've fitted the anti roll bar on the rear, and the lipo saddle conversion, The motor is 10.5t Hobby wing xerun sensored motor with the Hobbywing 120a xerun ESC, ( I didn't want to go too few turns / fast to start with) It had a KO propo servo but I was a skin flint when I bought it and get an end of line plastic geared servo, obviously the first time I ran it in anger i broke all the teeth in it, Now I have a futaba which is better and has rebuild kits available, I don't have any action shots as I'm usually driving I havn't been to any race meets yet, but I intend to as work allows,

And Thats it for me, I have been fancying a Kyosho sandmaster to take on the beach but in alot of ways it seems to similar to the hornet I already have,

I like your photos how did you manage to capture the shots?

P.S
I told you I was a Geek!
