give the engine, drivetrain and brakes a good look over, clean out the brakes etc bleed them, service the engine, replace all the oils and fluids give it a clean and then go from that , thats what i would doo

If its been sat a long time I always pull the plugs and pour a bit of oil into each cylinder, enough to coat the top of the piston, then loosely fit the plugs (1-2threads) to stop any crap getting in and leave it to sit for a few days so the oil can settle. Pull the plugs back out and turn it over by hand a good few times and shine a torch in each cylinder to make sure all the oil has cleared, refit plugs and give it a few turns over by hand. Add some fresh fuel, check oil/water etc and fire her up.

Boggo standard oil, or duckoil. Something quite thin generally penetrates better.

Bloke had it in his back yard for 4 yrs ,rust round arches and bit round screen but that's about it ,4 conways on it like new and if u see spare on back there's 4 of them too plus as a winch on the front,my plans are take the folding bench seat out the back replace soft top ( no leaks or splits) for hard top and go from there
