I recently bought from a scrapper some front calipers and carriers from a 91 (i think) lwb 16v Vit however i didnt get any bolts other than the small ones that hold the caliper to the carrier.
I thought they would be the same size and thread as the old one but boy was I wrong, spent an hour yesteday walking around a breakers undoing random carrier bolts on random cars to see waht would fit and nothing did.
Are these bolts Imperial or something and if so does anyone have a clue what the thread/size is as i could have finished off my front end yesterday if I had those 4 bolts
Thanks
Ian

I've been through a shed load of diagrams and they all show M12 x 33 or 32mm (same as the SJ)
Can't think what you have, sorry

There is a thread there, promise.
they are pretty rot as they were left outside on the car (but with no bolts) maybe i just need to get a tap on them and clean them out, thought winging a correct bolt in slowly with a lot of WD would do the trick.
m12x32/33 that sounds like an odd size

They should be metric, and with how suzuki standardise a lot of things so I would imagine the thread should be the same as the Sj caliper hangers.

All the diagrams listed either
M12 x 32mm long or
M12 x 33mm long
None gave the thread pitch which is normally fine on these bolts.
Hope that's a bit clearer

Right got ya, couldt place the 32/33 bit, but length makes a lot more sense :-)
i will clean the threads out a lot and just try some other spare bolts i picked up for now, then go back to the breaker and get some longer ones fron the Frontera i found there
Thanks
