Rear spot

I want to put one spot on back with switch just to light back when needed ,will I need a relay for 1 spot ??

One 55w spotlight will only use 4.5 amps so I wouldn't bother with a relay depending upon where your taking the supply from. Did you want this light to work regardless of ignition on/off. Is it for reversing or just a worklight ?

I used a relay when I mounted mine

But I used a switch that matched the existing dash switches

I used to have mine on a relay. I really need to put it back on I always used to use it, will prob just use a 20amp switch without a relay this time though to save on wiring.

Just a work light was thinking straight to battery via switch
