Hi, has any one got tappet settings for an 96 SJ mine is rattaling like a gooden, its not ant thing important but I need to get them set

i just did mine till they just touch but i think its .20 of a mm. Someone might correct me on that though!

It has taken me ages to find my haynes book, but now i have:
8-valve engine
Intake
cold......0.13 to 0.17mm
Hot.......0.23 to 0.27mm
Exhaust
cold......0.16 to 0.20mm
Hot.......0.26 to 0.30mm
Dan

Thanks for the info lads, now I,ll get stuck in and set them, its a good job in the hot sun shine ( I live in Southern Spain} thanks again
