Coil suspension anyone?

Can't find a great deal of info about it anywhere and wondered if you fellows had any ideas? Its not that i want bigger tyres just a better ride and better articulation.

Im looking at a few options. Dont really wana go spoa as it will just make my Zuk higher unneccesserily (u try spelling it).

All i've done so far is go to 31s and a virtual lift. Trying to keep it low n wide.

Also needs to be road legal.

I always thought i would get my SJ coiled at some point, untill i found out how much was involved .

I think YJ spring conversion is the next best thing. If you can get hold of a set of springs.

Yes it is alot of work but well worth it when it's done. The difference between a leaffer and a "good" coil job is night and day.
But a bad coil job can be less capable than a good leaffer.

One bit of advise don't get to wraped up in how the yanks do it as most of there setups realy don't suit our terain. Horses for courses as they say.

I do agree with the low and wide, mine only runs a 2 inch lift on 33's and you have to push it dam hard to get it over.

Thought those were torsion bars for a minute. Can't remember their proper name now either.

Umm that's the reason I don't ! Far to much work and to many hours go in for what poeple want to pay. Realistically there is at least 2k in parts and labour for a coil setup like paul's ! And how many Sj owners want to spend that.

If you think that's steep then look at rhino rays kit for £1400 and it's essentially modified scrap parts
