has anyone fitted a remote servo to a 410q?

or is it possible to fit a servo/mastercylinder from another sj?

I guess it might be possible, but I dont know if the 410 manifold would have a vacuum hose to power the servo?

my 410 has the egr vac point on manifold,
it does do anything due to having su carb and k/n filter, and crankcase/ rocker breather pipe goes to a catch tank.
vac point is blocked off.

I'm guessing he just has an old 410 without the servo.... and wants to put a samurai servo/cylidner combo on

Yes you can do it, 2 ways.

1. find a 413/sammy with a servo and take the servo, mastercylinder and complete pedal assembly. Enlarge the existing hole in the bulkhead and fit.

2. Get just the servo and master cylinder from a 413, sammy or vit and take out your existing pedal assembly and do a bit of cutting and trimming so that the master cylinder fits it. Enlarge the hole in the bulkhead and fit, you might need to modify the throttle cable routing though, I've got to on mine. It's quite easy to do really, only thing is on a vit master cylinder there are 3 outputs, either blank one off or run 1 line to the rear brakes and 1 to each of the fronts It's not all plumbed in yet but have a look here http://www.suzukiclubuk.co.uk/phpBB3/ph ... &start=130" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Make sure its not a lycos, cos if/when it brakes, youll struggle finding a replacement, let alone new master cylinder.

Is it worth fitting power brakes? You don't get abs with the servo, and I can (and have) locked up more than one wheel on dry tarmac with the un-assisted setup. Won't you just end up with really sensitive, overpowerful brakes?

should just make the pedal easier/softer to use.
