hi..ONly had my 89 samurai a few weeks.Ive had a few probs with it so far but theyre gradually being sorted, however a new wee quirk ive just noticed that while driving at night, which i havn't done much of since i bought it,after a few miles(10 or so) ive noticed the lights begin to flicker and fade, also the cdplayer cuts out at the same time.i'm assuming power is draining somehow from the motor.??but no real idea how...
any ideas folks?

Re: lights dimming
do you know how old the battery is?
i was getting that, i left the battery flat and discharged over the winter period.. with the freezing temperatures... it caused the battery to freeze.. then it dead-celled. was running at 10 volts :/
if its not that...
the alternator could be on its way out. charges the battery during the day when your using less power (no lights) and at night your using slightly more power so the alternator cant charge the battery sufficiently .
duh... grammar fail
hope this helps.
