I was recently looking for insurance for my g/f

Her first car, pug 106, lotsa money :(

After I ended up curious and got a quote for me as an 18yo, with my SJ unmodified... cheapest I got was about £1500

Considering my insurance now is just over £150 per year, it's actually disgusting!

Thats strange, 2gether were fine with my rollcage???? adrian flux told me I would need to remove it for them to match 2gethers quote? did you explain to them all that the rollcage was for offroad safety?? what type of rollcage did you say? has it got a full external cage? or did you just say it has a 'rollcage'

I F**king hate insurers! why wont they insure you because you have soemthing that might save your life oneday???? :argh: :argh: :argh:

you'll find someone eventually! I dont really want to say take the cage off but it might be your best option if you want cheaper insurance?????? you'll just have to be more careful! is the cage un boltable? if so might be worth just puttign it on when you go to pay and play days??

Or just keep the SJ on your dads trade policy and insure youir golf to get your no claims up! I'm on a joint trade policy with my dad and TBH I couldn't give a damn if i get a NCB or not as it's cheaper than insuring multiple cars!
