Oh what to do!

Everyone seems to be fitting Vitara 1.6 engines into the 413, but I have some questions;

1, Is it really worth it? Local scrappy has one for £85, so although cheap, Id not like to do it for no real gains
2, does it improve fuel economy? I currently only get 120 odd miles from a full tank
3, if not the vit 1.6, what else goes in easy?

well you get more torque and more power with 1600..

not sure how good it will be on fuel but it cant be that much more.

I think i get more than 120 miles to a tank so i cant see it being worse Loads more grunt too, im not sure if i could go back to a 1.0 or 1.3 now

Mine is a standard 410 and i get at least 150 miles on a full tank...... If you want to know the full extent of work needed for the convertion ask the man above.......

Or how bout a corsa 1.5d engine?

i get the about the same mpg from my 1.6 as i got when it was a 1.3
