Hi everybody, I've had a 1988 Samurai Commercial Van for just over a year. So far I have replaced the shockers and steering damper with OME's.
I've changed all the fluids, given it a tune up, timing, plugs, valve clearances. Fixed a bad oil leak from the distributor O ring and Rocker Cover Gasket.
Most of the jobs I've done I've gained the technical know how from this website and the Facebook Group. The only non-stock thing I've changed is replacing the original seats with Swift ones. So much more comfortable!
At the moment I'm using the Sami to go to car shows and trail my bike to more distant bike events, however during the Winter I plan to change the cam belt and water pump and generally improve what I alrady have, I'm sure this Forum will come in very useful.
Hope to see you on the road one day!
