The VIN number on my Samurai is:-
VSE0SJJ3D00XXXXXX.
When I put this into, say, ssg.asia.info it tells me 'not found'.
Can anyone explain why that should be please? Thanks.

Just purchased so awaiting the V5.
Re: VIN number related.
I presume that’s not the actually VIN and you’ve replaced the last digits with Xs
However it looks like that website doesn’t recognises Spanish built SJ Vins. It recognised my Jap built sj vin but it doesn’t recognise my Spanish one. Yours is a Spanish built SJ.

Hi there
You are correct, had replaced last 6 numbers with X's.
Input into the sites had full number.
Understand your point about Spanish VIN numbers.
