Headlights

Hi Guys

My 413 has a slight problem!! Have side lights, full beam but no dipped!! It has worked on and off but now it seems to have gone though they did come on when I accidently hit the horn the other day!

Any ideas??

it could be a few things, i had trouble with 'lazy' head lights, where they wouldn't turn on straight away and had a few second delay, it ended up sending my on a jorney of adventure into a spanish sammys wiring,
- check the fuse, (in the box in the passengers footwell)
- if yours has a dim/dip relay unit, remove it and try with out (some sj's came with them fitted, some with out)
- check your switchgear http://forum.difflock.com/viewtopic.php?t=35091
- then finally check your connecter on your fuse box, as that was what was wrong with mine....




and that was casued by running to high a wattage headlamp original bulbs are '410' 40/45w

brilliant thanks for the post you made. when i turn my full beams on i cant turn them off without turning all the lights off.

the spring return on my indicator stalk also doesnt work so can sort that.
