Sj410 in Orpington Kent

Post by marve114 » Mon Dec 17, 2018 6:17 am

Hi guys and gals

I’m in Orpington / Kent
Got my self a little 410 van about 6 months ago.
Been a good little project and kept my head in a good place at times.
Originally I only bought it to tinker with and drive to our horse stables but since that has happened and I’ve taken it to a few play days

So I’ve got a few mods planned for it

Currently looking into doing an engine swap
But first looking at spoa

At present she is sitting on 215/75-15 insa saharas
And little shackles and is very capable and great fun

Hi :welcome: to the club.
Nice little van, if it was mine I’d keep the engine standard and do as little lift as possible, have a look at Scottie’s build for lift :D

I’m only thinking about lifting it as it scrapes and bottoms out
My thinking for engine swap was to make it nicer to drive to play days instead of up and down the gear box like an old 55cc motorbike

Get what you mean about engine but who didn’t have great fun on a 50 :hahaha:
Have a look fo virtual lift guide, means cutting and welding, but I wouldn’t go spring over as it makes it very unstable.

Lifting it wouldn't stop it scraping, only bigger tyres will do that :)
