Magnetic diff oil plugs

Post by basher » Tue Dec 29, 2015 1:31 pm

Is there such a thing for the sj? I've just spent a good hour cleaning out an axle with petrol, rags, compressed air and a magnet after we blew a diff to bits and it's as clean as il get it, just wondering if there is a magnetic plug available for piece of mind, if hate to damage the new diff and we drove home a few miles after it happened with the prop shaft removed so there was a fair amount of small particles

My standard ones are magnetic.... the front axle one had all sorts of metal bits attached to it from my last front diff explosion

Check that the filler and drain aren't swapped over.
