Peugeot or Mazda engine

Hi Been looking at getting a gv. I most concerned about mpg I've read that the peugeot is better than the Mazda but what figuers do they do and what year is the change over year as I'm more interested in the Peugeot engine gvs, cheers

Apparently the mazda engine has a few issues with it's ECU but is otherwise OK
Send to rhinoman for immobiliser removal job done :D

the rhw is a very awkward engine to work on especially if you need to change the temp sensor
