Fitting some 31s on my Jimny
Fitting some 31s on my Jimny
So my last couple of days have been a little busy, I am sure that more will need to be done after I have flexed it up a bit but you need to start somewhere when putting big tyres on.
I have had to remove metal from the rear arch
And the same for the Front
And this is what I have managed to fit on here.
It all needs tidying up still and a couple of mounts moving. Time will tell if the angle grinder has to come out again and a welder. So far the normal road driving has been ok. I will keep you posted.

Looks to me as though the plastic trim is now your limiting factor - the arches under that trim looks like it'll take 33's! Impossible to really tell without seeing it flexed up in person, I know, but it makes me really want a Jimny!

I wish it was just plastic that is the limiting factor, they get pretty close to some metalwork too. I will be on it again tonight I hope and I can find out, they are tight though. Ha ha you two should both get one.

I should have washed it, I ended up leaving half of Wiltshire on my drive.

A 4x4 (especially a Suzuki 4x4) without mud is a bit like
Frank Sinatra without a voice or George Best without a ball or The A Team without a workshop or Paris Hilton. That is to say, it's a bit pointless and missing something that makes it great.
I suppose a 4x4 works with rocks too. A bit like Paris Hilton when she's trying to think.
