Hi from Bulgaria
Hi from Bulgaria
Hi guys, I am Vlad and am proud owner of a 1986 Samy LWB. Got it 2 years ago after searching the net for about 8 months. A lot of work has been done since. When money and time was available. Engine rebuild. LPG conversion with the LPG tank in the place of the petrol tank and additional 20lt petrol tank next to it. Underbody welded and painted. Calmini 3,5" suspension fitted {after 8 months waiting for it to be delivered from USA}. Dash sprayed by me. Vitara front seats fitted and reupholstered. 16" wheels from Daihatsu Feroza with 235/80 Cooper Discoverer and spacers. That is the work done for now. The Samy needs some more work on it, but the main problems are solved. I use it as a workhouse {builder} daily with removed back seat and soft offroading/picknicks on weekends.
Hope you like my :Samy

Hi nice SJ.
Re: Hi from Bulgaria
Proud of it! Done it myself with help with the upholstery. The colour of the dash is a VW colur, selected from a catalogue. Paint is waterbased, and you need to apply an primer on the plstic before applying it.andyrew wrote:Im loving that interior.
Nice suzuki!

Welcome, what a great looking truck, as others have said the interior looks fantastic. I like your roof top, we don't get removable hardtops like that in the UK. It's nice to hear that you use it for work, in England SJ's are old, so they are mostly used for off-road/fun

The original idea was to have a 2 in one vehicle plus a old timer, instead of having a van and a Grand Vitara. Well, it did not work exactly this way. It has not got sliding doors, manoeuvrability and on highway trips my wife gets nervous, asking me "Why are all this lorries overtaking us". But I love it to bits.
