Who wouldn't? It's basically a 60's car with a facelift front end for the 70's which continued production through to the 90's and not only that it's bullet proof reliable & it's a damn practical retro classic!

Just had a basic pre MOT service done.

Requires pads all round, hand brake shoes and a fog light switch. All ordered.

Classic Swede now have 60mm lowering springs available for a mere £180. I am extremely tempted but also have a self imposed "one project at a time".

Do i stick to the rule or order the springs and slam it?

If it's a simple process of swapping the springs and job jobbed, then slam it. If you have to mess with steering geometry, caster angles and so on, then wait until the SJ is done.

Just do it.

You know you want to, and asking is only to satisfy your conscience. ;)
