My Fatboy Project

Thought I may as well start my project thread, was going to leave it for for a while but thought i may get help and ideas, already loads from Alex and Dan regarding the tyres. This project is to get my vitara suitable for getting me offroad to go hunting, not the greatest starting vit being a wideboy but hay hay. I paid a hell of a lot of money for this vit being told it was in solid and perfect only to find that it wasnt.
I dont wont to do loads to it, but there are a couple.
1. Rust
2. Tyres
3. Underbody protection
4. Rear Inter
5. New Front seats
6. Sound System
7. Change bullbar (maybe)
8. Change Sidesteps
9. Spot Lights (maybe lightbar)
10. Outer cosmetics
11. Spare tyre cover
There Will be other stuff but thats the main ideas to start with. Heres a few starting pics of rust for you....

As i said in my intro to the club i am disabled i suffer from chronic pain in my left foot(reason for auto) i was a farrier and i was trampled by a racehorse in a stable which left me with crushed nerves in my left foot. As i said this motor will change my life by letting me do my 1st love of hunting and falconry(sorry suzukis are a close 2nd), Apart from my ridiculous amount of medication is my animals which help no end so i thought i would let you meet them as they are the reason for this... thanks

Nice birds. The vit is a little rusty isn't it. Looks like its all in reasonably easy places to patch though.

The rust in the rear is so common, mine was exactly the same. It is very easy to fix though. Cut out the dead metal and weld in a plate...simple. (well, if you can weld...simple for anyone who can!)

What amazing birds you have, I have a real soft spot for owls.
Good on you for getting into that rust. I have just come to the end of the rust in my samurai. I found this site good motivation when I was a bit sick of it!! Look forward to seeing your progress.
