Re: joe's restoration!
£55 to get the stickers re-done, that sounds pretty good to me, especially as you added the rhino too.
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Those stickers look really good! I have an SD card reader in my SJ CD's just skip because its so harsh but solid state memory is the way forward! I also mounted my cb in the same sort of place.... just an inch or so higher into the tube that supports the dash with a bracket - although yours looks really neat, neater than mine!

Re: joe's restoration!
yep thats the radio, it should fit into the standard size radio cage so it depends on what radio you had fitted before, but if you had an original radio you will have to modify it. and it just has the standard ISO harness at the back, and because there is no CD drive it is very shallow so its very neat and tidy.

Looks sweet bud, nice one
Re: joe's restoration!
im thinking about cutting off my front bumper supports today now that i have the rhino ray bumper on the front and there not really needed. might give a slightly better approach angle and look better. is there anything i should consider when doing this? or would it be best to leave them?

Re: joe's restoration!
haven't updated my thread for ages and i feel a little bad, so don't think that i've lost interest. what im most happy with is fitting slightly bigger tyres, there only 235/75/15 but man do they fill the wheel arches better! i also removed the snorkel, because i put the air filter directly on top i am now def in one ear, lol. but i relocated the k&n under the bonnet so it still sounds cool.
i asked about engine changes earlier but unfortunately i don't think i will be doing that any time soon as there's no chance of me being able to insure it, and i think if im caught with a 1.6 in id probably loose my license:( its still definitely in the plans but not while im still 18 anyway.
also i want one of those big coily CB antennas mounted to my bull bars because i think it would look cool, and in the summer i think i should paint the floor if i can be bothered, lol. or maby paint the axles red!.

Good to see you're still cracking on with little bits here and there, build threads always go a bit slower after the major part of the build.
I wouldn't worry about an engine upgrade, yeah they might be a bit slow on road with oversize tyres however if you got a rocklobster tbox it will transform it off road!
Love that last pic! that's a cool little effect
